I’ve been doing a lot of digital art for the past few weeks. While that did increase my work speed, it did make me rely on the undo function a lot when I did something I didn’t end up liking or if I made a mistake. I was working on a piece for artfight, but I really didn’t like it. I decided to go back to traditional mediums for a change of pace. Working traditionally, especially with ink, forces me to be more confident with each stroke and to take my time with each drawing. Even though this is a sketch, it’s made me remember to not only draw confidently but to work through my mistakes.
